How many stories can a single image tell? Below are a few {mostly} queer narratives told in a single {drawn} page / poster.

Concept artwork, character designs, character, object and environment assets and UX/UI assets all developed for an imagined game art direction scenario. All artwork generated for studio instruction and production purposes, exhibiting uses of: figurative drawings + sketches, pixel-based image editors, vectors graphics tools + properties, UX/UI designs + tile-based pattern-design.

What happens when the neighborhood Queer Bar lets you turn it into a cardboard hunting lodge for a month?

This is a story about queer identities and the narratives that are used to both construct and deconstruct gender categories. This month long installation explored strange parrallels among very different geographies and gender constructions, and played with the connections between community narratives and community spaces. It was also an opportunity to take a life-size cardboard canoe down the MUNI tracks.
