TUTORIAL 3.1 - STEP 1

For the next 3 tutorials, you will be developing 3 steps of a single exercise. In these videos, I mention working with a reference image - select one to use here before getting too far into Step 1. At the end of the step 1 and step 2 videos, I mention exporting and submitting - these instructions have changed, you now only need to export / submit the file at the end of Step 3. I still recommend "Save As" at the beginning of each step, in case you want to redo anything. Make sure your final image includes the required elements specified in each written exercise step description on Canvas - these might vary slightly and be slightly less than what I show / say in these video tutorials.

Also, a few reminders of your options with this video format:

  1. Pop out of Canvas and watch in a new tab if any of the features aren't working
  2. There are fullscreen and CC (Sub-title) options available in the right hand corner. For being YouTube auto-captions, these are pretty clear. I think they must have improved their algorithm. Please email me with any accessibility needs.
  3. If you are feeling pressed for time, but don't want to miss anything, you can watch with audio in 1.5 speed by hitting that little gear icon.
